How a review is made when we refuse to place a bet
Footballbet is not a bookmaker and does not run mystery-shopper wallets. That constraint is a feature. It keeps us honest about what a desk can actually know.
Sources we will use
- The operator’s public website, apps as described on those pages, and help centre.
- Corporate ownership as stated in current group filings and official brand pages.
- The UK Gambling Commission public register, which the reader should check themselves.
- Market definitions that are stable enough to teach: 1X2, totals, handicaps, accas.
Sources we will not invent
- UKGC licence numbers. We will not guess, reconstruct, or “remember” an account ID.
- Today’s welcome offer, boosted price, or cash-out figure.
- A sale price for this site or domain. See Acquire.
- Settled bets we did not place.
What a review is allowed to conclude
A review may say what kind of football product a brand is selling, who owns it, where it is strong, and where a reader should slow down. It may not certify that a company is licensed today. Only the Commission can do that, and only on the day you look.
Odds explainers describe arithmetic and market definitions. They are not a model of the Premier League and they are not value tips.
Corrections
If we got an ownership fact or a market definition wrong, write tocontact@footballbet.com. We will update the page and leave a date. We will not silently rewrite a verdict to please an operator.
