Standards
The line between a review and an advert
Operators do not assign our verdicts. Money does not buy a licence number we do not have. Under-18s are not an audience.
Independence
Reviews are written to be useful to a UK football reader, not to a partnership manager. If we enter a commercial relationship, it is disclosed onaffiliate disclosure. A commercial relationship does not let a brand write its own caveats, suppress a risk warning, or add a UKGC number we did not take from the register in front of the reader.
Facts we will leave blank
Blank is more honest than invention. We will leave licence numbers, live prices, and sale prices blank rather than fill them with something that sounds complete. Completeness is not a virtue when the number is wrong.
Voice
UK English. Football first. No “lock of the week”. No celebration of losses as content. Humour is allowed; contempt for people who are struggling with gambling is not.
Corrections and right of reply
Operators and readers may write tocontact@footballbet.com with a factual challenge. We will consider documented errors. We will not negotiate a star rating we never published, or a licence number we refused to invent.
Minors
This site is for adults aged 18 or over. We do not write for, or about gambling with, anyone younger. The age gate is a condition of using the site, not decoration.
