How this site may be paid
Footballbet may earn a commission if you follow a commercial link and open an account with an operator. That does not make us a bookmaker, and it does not buy a sentence.
Some links on this site may be affiliate links. If they are, and if you later register or transact with that operator, we may be paid. The operator pays that commission. You do not pay a surcharge to us for clicking.
We may also run without affiliate links. A page that contains no tracked link is still editorial. A page that contains one is still bound by theeditorial policy.
What money cannot buy
- A fabricated UKGC licence number.
- The removal of BeGambleAware, GAMSTOP, or the 18+ warning.
- A claim that we are a bookmaker, or that we hold client funds.
- A live odds figure we cannot defend.
- A quieter caveat in a review.
Advertising versus editorial
If we ever label a piece as advertising or a partnership, it will say so at the top. Reviews, explainers, and league hubs are editorial unless they say otherwise.
